Photos!

Mon Dec 28, 2009, 9:42 PM
Well, I thought I might do something a little different and upload some of my favorite photos. I hope you all like them. My camera is just a little point-and-shoot but it has a "super macro" setting that lets me get pictures from about an inch and a half away. That's how I take most of my pictures! I've learned to manipulate it by 'tricking' its black and white points (because it automatically adjusts them, UGH!). I really do enjoy photography but I don't do it very often. I just sort of pick up the camera 'when the mood strikes me.'

I really can't begin to describe the reverent joy I find in the tiny things of nature. I hope that more people can come to understand.

  • Mood: Compassion

You must be/have been BUSY painting all those Video Game characters/creatures. My favoriting finger can hardly keep up.

Haha, yes I did them in a big go, and then sat on the scans for ages. I finally decided to put them up. I have so many more I want to do... It's like a geek outlet. All the originals are for sale (some are sold already) but I hope to offer mini-prints or magnets or SOMETHING. I started just doing them to blow off steam. THANK YOU!
:iconphillipwnd:
How long did it take to make them all? They're very well done. :ahoy: I'd totally buy magnets or prints of them if I had any money.

You make me want to start making some, too. Except in vector. Hmmmm... Maybe when my plate's less full.

I think I made a lot of these over the course of a month, just chained to the art table. Obviously some of them were simpler to execute than others. It was the concept sketches that took up a lot of the time. And research! I wanted to make sure I got things right... It's hard to remember what color a bob-omb's shoes are after a while... :D
:iconphillipwnd:
I wish I had the drive to do such a thing. I tend to procrastinate and never finish anything, let alone so many. I'm glad you got around to finishing and uploading all of them, they're all so cool and each have their own personalities. :ahoy:

And it's good you researched them. I remember one time I saw fan art of Princess Peach and they made her hair brown on accident. I had a facepalm moment.
